Calvin Dunn, also known as CD The Writer, is an author, poet, and digital creator who advocates for mental health. He has been blessed with a specialty for connecting with readers through his writing. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 1975, his life has been shaped by his experiences and challenges. Calvin’s story begins at Cambridge Hospital on a chilly morning, and his early life was filled with difficulties that fueled his desire to learn and succeed. Despite growing up in poverty, he graduated high school with top marks and earned an academic scholarship to the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
In 1995, Calvin Dunn was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which brought many struggles over the next thirteen years. During this difficult time, he fought hard to find stability in his life. Calvin shares his journey, hoping it will inspire others facing similar challenges. His love for learning has led him to explore many areas of knowledge and spirituality.
Calvin is enthusiastic and committed to his writing and has a genuine compassion for helping others.
